Patricia F. Ammari has practiced law in Atlanta, Georgia since 2001. Her practice is a mix of litigation and general business counseling.

Ms. Ammari represents clients in all aspects of commercial and business litigation in both trial and appellate courts. Ms. Ammari began her practice at a large international law firm as an associate practicing in the area of commercial litigation. Ms. Ammari has experience litigating a variety of complex commercial cases in the areas of products liability, franchise, trade regulation, trusts and estates, breach of contract, mortgage fraud, construction, entertainment, consumer finance, real estate, and employment litigation.

Ms. Ammari also provides advice and counseling to assist clients in achieving their transactional goals, including reviewing contracts and structuring transactions to help clients identify legal risks and develop and incorporate appropriate risk mitigation and avoidance strategies.

Ms. Ammari has been admitted to the Georgia courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. Ms. Ammari also has experience in alternative dispute resolution methods, such as mediation and arbitration.

Educational

Ms. Ammari received her law degree, cum laude, from Georgia State University College of Law in 2001. During law school, Ms. Ammari served as Associate Notes and Comments Editor for the Georgia State University Law Review and authored "Review of Selected 2000 Georgia Legislation," 17 Georgia State University Law Review 134 and 17 Georgia State University Law Review 174, Fall 2000. Ms. Ammari also represented her law school in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Ms. Ammari received her Bachelor of Arts, with distinction, from The University of Alabama in 1997.

Community

Ms. Ammari resides in Dunwoody, Georgia, a suburb of Atlanta. Ms. Ammari and her husband, Abdi, are members of Dunwoody United Methodist Church and the Dunwoody Homeowners Association. Ms. Ammari has also assisted pro bono clients through Atlanta Volunteer Lawyers Foundation with landlord tenant, employment, and various other legal issues.
